How to apply KLCK#

When you don’t see your KLCK lock screen, sometimes, the simple reason is that you have not actually enabled/applied it. Unlike KWGT and KLWP, this needs to be manually enabled in KLCK. To do this:

1. Open KLCK editor
2. Make sure you’re in edit mode
3. Open the side menu
4. Enable the “Lock Screen” toggle switch

Wallpaper is not scrolling!#

Please ensure that you have “background scrolling” enabled in your Launcher settings, for example, in Nova, you can find this in “Settings -> Desktop -> Wallpaper Scrolling”. Then ensure that the image you set as background is larger then your screen (if you cropped it to screen size it wont scroll because there is nothing to scroll). Finally ensure that the number of screens in your launcher have the same count as the ones on the preset you are using. On some Huawei phones you need to go back to EMUI launcher (if its not your Launcher already), select a picture as a background and select the scrolling option on the bottom right, then go back to your Launcher of choice and KLWP.

Can Kustom Widget update every second?#

Android Widgets do not know if they are currently displayed or not, this means that they will run also when you are using another app like a browser (even if Kustom widget never updates when screen is off it still doesn’t know if you are actually looking at it or not when screen is on), so, from a technical point of view KWGT could update every second but the feature has been disabled to avoid battery issues or performance issues when very complex presets are being used. This could change in the future if Android OS or Launchers will add a better support for this
